~ Bridget and Nick
Look, Bridget. You had one shot or one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted in one moment. Would you just capture it? Or let it slip. We didn't even plan that. That halftime show. Guys, can we just start there and maybe even end there? Nick is gonna rap for you the whole time. I have had uh next episode stuck in my head the entire week since the Super Bowl. Like of all songs? And so I'm just like going around like ding ding. What was the weirdest part, too? Or weirdest, most noteworthy? Okay, so because I have one. Why did Mary J get two songs? I'm Oh, because she is the woman, that's why. Yeah. No, like honestly, that's because you know, we try to be representative in the event. She was the only rent woman, so like she had to get two songs. Do you know how old she is?
SPEAKER_00Like 50. 51, I saw. I did not know that. He's not 50?
SPEAKER_01Yes, he's 50. No way. Marshall Mathers is 50. Holy shit. She's a pity piece. Okay. Uh, you know, we all are like, oh, those stones, how old. And now Yeah, that that meme was funny.
SPEAKER_00We are. I did joke, I'll just say it now for our news story. If I could just share all of my favorite halftime show memes. Um mom, I'm sorry, but I'm gonna say this one real quick. I shared one about Midwesterners saying, Oh, instead of oh. Oh, and it was gravity. Oh, there goes, yeah, and so it's it's a lyric from the Eminem song, and it ends in the word gravity. And my mom was like, I don't get it. Like you were sharing something about gravity. I'm like, no, no, no, you missed the point. We're sharing the beginning, the part that says oh, while Midwesterners say op. And I was like walking through a store, literally in my head, singing, oh, there goes gravity. I think M says op. I mean, I think he says ope.
SPEAKER_01He's from Michigan, so have you seen any of his interviews, or he's clearly from Michigan?
SPEAKER_00I mean, I love Eminem, I'm ashamed to say. Oh, is it Missouri? Wow, whatever. Anyway, maybe he's from Missouri. Okay, my kid, my kid, my Elliot, was like Eminem? And he's like, not understanding why he is he called Eminem's. And I'm like, no, no, no. Marshall Mathers is his name.
SPEAKER_01That's I you know, Tim Allen still does a pure Michigan stuff, but he's California now, and Eminem. You're like, oh yeah, you still live in Detroit.
SPEAKER_00You're still I have to clarify, he was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, but he moved to Detroit when he was 11.
SPEAKER_01Uh, you might call it San Yosef if you're in France. San Yosef. So that's a good transition right there. San Yosef is one of my favorite red wines. And today is National Drink Red Wine Day. Wow, that transition. Good job. I brought out the big guns to celebrate. My fave. Truchard Tempernillo. Shout out to True Shard. To Touchard. Shout out to this dirty glass that I didn't clean all the way. I'll just drink on the sign that's clean.
SPEAKER_00Shout out to that glass. Yeah, so we hope you're drinking wine even when you're listening to this on Sunday, even though it's not drink wine day.
SPEAKER_01You're in an alternate uh reality where it is drink wine day because that's what you're listening to. So you know, just use us to fuel your need for more wine.
SPEAKER_00Wow, that was nice of us. Um I really liked that transition. I'm gonna go right back to the halftime show, and I want you guys to send me your favorite part. Can I talk about how weird it was that 50 Cent came in upside down? Yeah, that was really weird. And he was like the surprise guest, and he just looked like stocky midget, kind of. I thought it was Kevin Hart. Yeah, yeah, except he's way little. Well, I mean, that makes sense.
SPEAKER_01Because he was upside down and I'm like, is that and like the camera shot wasn't close at the start. It was like a long shot. So I was like, is that Kevin Hart? And I mean, oh because Kevin Hart showed, you remember like it's a Downy commercial or it's a Tide commercial a couple years ago where it's like Tide shows up in everything? I was like, I mean, Kevin Hart shows up in everything. He's an LA guy. I wouldn't put it past him, like, what up? I here with Dre. What up?
SPEAKER_00Um but yeah, that's like, oh, it's fitting. Snoop Dogg's outfit. I needed my wardrobe. That was nice. It was nice. Okay, good. So that was like a highlight of my weekend in my how was your week notes.
SPEAKER_01Did you note at the start when Dre like maybe couldn't get up out of the chair? No, I didn't. He was like fidgeting on the right side. Uh I wasn't sure, like, because it's like it was like a normal office chair. So like his coat maybe got stuck on the arm. Oh my god, that's so funny. Or we're old and yeah, it was honestly like Dre, are you okay? Very funny. You should watch the start of it again because I was watching it.
SPEAKER_00I'm like, what is it? I I didn't record at all on my phone because my my tie was putting Lucy to sleep, and I wanted him to be able to see it. Um, Elliot danced a lot to it. It was so great. Um, yeah, big weekend, Valentine's Day, Super Olympics. Olympics kind of take like a little in my head a break on the weekend.
SPEAKER_01Again, uh, cannot get next episode out of my head. Again, still stuck in my head. Um, usually if I hear a live performance of lose yourself, that one's stuck in my head. And I just recited some lyrics, but still next episode's what's stuck in my head.
SPEAKER_00See, it's been it's been MM for me.
SPEAKER_01Also, did you know that that album was released in 2001? 20 years ago.
SPEAKER_00See, to me, like 2003 was still like two years ago.
SPEAKER_01I'm like, oh yeah, that's just a few years back. You know, like the Cuban Missile Crisis was as close to release as that, you know, as we are to it now. Let me live, man. Just let me live. You know, the Berlin Wall. I don't know.
SPEAKER_00Um, okay, did you have a nice Valentine's? Did you do anything? I did.
SPEAKER_01We just stayed at home. Great. Ate our dinner love, had some uh family time. Uh we had a good weekend, just chilling. It was uh it was a good time. It was it was nice. We didn't do anything extravagant at all. How about you?
SPEAKER_00Uh yeah, it was a good weekend. We had Valentine's Day Shannon shout out, and um, so we had a Galantine's Day brunch, which Shannon always does, which is so fun. Um, I had a visit from like a family friend, which was so nice. I haven't seen her in years, and it was just like a good time of year for her to come visit because of a lot of reasons. And we got to talk about um her grandson's birthday. And yeah, so I get to help plan that party. It was just really nice. Yeah, it it was. And um, I just you know, you don't know. We hadn't seen each other in so long. I didn't know how it would go.
SPEAKER_01And it was really I was wondering if that's who it was when I saw it after.
SPEAKER_00It is, yeah, it is, and so it was really refreshing and really nice. So it was just good. And then yeah, Monday was oh, my mom then had like a my mom and dad did like a Valentine's party for the kids, so like did a scavenger hunt for them. So we watched like the first half of the Super Bowl slash did a Valentine's scavenger hunt on Sunday at their house. So we it was chaos.
SPEAKER_01Simona and I went over to my parents on Valentine's Day night to surprise them. Oh and uh my mom wasn't there. All the lights were like dark. Surprise! Hmm. Hmm. But there was one light on it outside. My parents have a hot tub. I'm like, maybe they're in there. I don't know. Weird. Don't go over on Valentine's Day in the hot. It was like six o'clock. So? So I'm like, and then you have an outside camera that like alerts like your son and granddaughter are coming.
SPEAKER_00Stop!
SPEAKER_01So uh I'm like, this is weird. And then I'm like, well, we're here. We may as well play with the different toys if they're not here. Because Simona wanted to play with the kitchen there. Oh, yeah. You know, she has a kitchen here, but it's a different kitchen. So I hear that. So she's played with the kitchen. I'm like, huh, let's go use the bathroom quick, and then uh, you know, we can leave. And I come out, my dad's like in his robe, like, oh, you guys are here. I'm like, Did you fall asleep in your hot tub? Did he? I'm like, this is not safe. You should not be in this hot tub by yourself. You know, especially like it was a cooler day. Dude, yeah. You should not, and like the lights were always like, it was just very soothing. I'm like, you are going to drown. I mean, jealous of that hot tub for sure. But so I'm glad he's okay. And my mom was, you know, very uh like kind of feisty about did she come back? No, she was at school board expelling someone or something, giving the kids more free days off. Suck it, school board.
SPEAKER_00Ugh. Sorry, that was actually rude. Hey, there was a primary this week speaking. Yeah, brilliant.
SPEAKER_01Congratulations to top vote getter Todd Krause.
SPEAKER_00Woohoo! Thank you. Keep that going.
SPEAKER_01Keep that going.
SPEAKER_00Hey, everybody that can vote in the city of Lake Geneva, do it.
SPEAKER_01I ran into his wife at Tarjay, as you do, and uh, I was like, I just want you to know. I don't know what matters to you, but I'm keeping everything crossed. I'm praying, I'm sending good karma.
SPEAKER_00Do you want your husband to win?
SPEAKER_01I'm she's like, yeah, to share. I'm like, no, I think if I shared some of these things, it might backlash a little bit. So I'm just not gonna say anything, but I'm I'm here for Todd Crouse. I'm here for Todd Crausey, installer of great flooring. Gonna have a party venue soon. I keep driving past it, yeah. Um, I don't know many of the details about it, but we'll share when we do. So that's exciting. Um, let's see. I'm going on vacation next week. Yes, you are. That's great. So we're gonna have a remote pod next week. Oh yeah, I kind of forgot about that. Um, live from the nation's capital, such as it is. Those are always top-notch. So uh Mr. Nick goes to uh to to Washington. It's Mr. Nick travels the Washington instead of Mr. Smith. Of course, it looks like it's gonna rain the entire time.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I love the rain. Um, you should learn to embrace it. Okay.
SPEAKER_01It's not great when all I want to do is walk around.
SPEAKER_00Well, carry an umbrella, bro. Bring some waterproof.
SPEAKER_01I actually don't, I'm gonna have to get a raincoat because uh I normally just grab the umbrella, but in DC, like you have to go through um security all the time and they're they take a like you could like kill someone with an umbrella.
SPEAKER_00So they're like the compact ones? Whatever, man. You should see Nick's spreadsheet, everybody, for this vacation. Every day he's like, hey, thought we were gonna talk about a work thing. Hey, I so like I'm thinking the 10 o'clock to this museum and this. I'm like, what you have more planned for this vacation than I do for anything.
SPEAKER_01I'm a planner.
SPEAKER_00Same. I like to plan my vacations. I have a vacation coming up as well, but I've planned literally nothing for it. Well, you're just like going to a beach. Well, yes, but with my children and my husband. So it's like three kids.
SPEAKER_01Lucy wakes up, we go to the beach. Lucy wants a nap, we're done. What about that other kid?
SPEAKER_00Lucy wants a nap, I think it's just gonna be free Elliot. Oh, yeah, it's gonna be great. So, okay, um instead of free willy, free Elliot. Free Willy. Ooh, we should watch Free Willy. I bet it looks terrible.
SPEAKER_01I bet it looks horrific. Well, and that one's gonna be letterboxed too. So it'll be like bad. Um Do you prefer, okay? So here's a random question as you're watching old movies. Do you prefer the like they display it in the 4-3, which doesn't fit on your TV and looks terrible, or they put it to the correct six uh, you know, widescreen format. Yeah. And and then they cut stuff off.
SPEAKER_00It's gotta be cut off because like I can't stand watching it with the black bars on the side. It drives me crazy.
SPEAKER_01I believe it would. What about you? I want it, I want it the original just because Do you feel like you're really missing?
SPEAKER_00I feel like I'm missing stuff.
SPEAKER_01And yeah, like it, but it I hate it and it makes me so I'd actually rather watch it on my phone and watch it vertically on my phone, too close to my face, because then it actually like is that's terrible. Uh it actually fits. That's that's my messed up thing.
SPEAKER_00Oh, that is messed up. Um okay, I have a weird, it's not a news article. Okay. A weird, not a news article, news article.
SPEAKER_01So uh I want everybody to know I have an incredible segment for the second half of this podcast. So if the first half seems a little short, it's because the second half is gonna be fire.
SPEAKER_00I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Off the heasy.
SPEAKER_00I'm nervous about it. He's got printed paper, which is never a good idea. Printed actual paper. Okay, this is uh trees for the people who like me. There's gotta be people like me out there.
SPEAKER_01Uh there is that what your therapist told you?
SPEAKER_00There's people like you, Bridget. When you're watching a show and you're like, I love this sweater, I love these pants, I wonder where they're from. Oh yeah. Okay, do you do that?
SPEAKER_01Do men do that? Okay. And you know, you're watching succession and you see a plain black ball cap at a guy and you're like, Where can I just buy that?
SPEAKER_00Did you watch succession?
SPEAKER_01Uh Sarah's watching it right now. I want to, and she's like, it might be a little too close to home for you. Oh, I don't watch it. It's about a family business succession where the parents aren't really quite.
SPEAKER_00It's not the winery one, is it? No, that's a different one. That one I want to watch. That's on Hulu. Um, well, anyway, I, like a real adult, just totally binged the second season of Sweet Magnolias, which is the dumbest show. But I love that. It's like very terrible, very terrible acting. Like I was texting with one of my friends about it, and um actually we were Instagram DMing, and and I was like, Yeah, she just started season two. And I'm like, oh, I watched the whole thing, and the acting is way worse this season. She's like, I thought that was just me. I'm like, no, it's very bad.
SPEAKER_01Maybe the notes were like act worse because this is what people want. It's like it I always say it's the Lady Gaga thing, you know, as you see performers go crazy, they people are like, okay, we like you because you're different this way. And people are like, okay, so I'll just do a little bit more of that different.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And then and then you then you, you know, have to dial it back to the show. Maybe they're like, people like the show because it's bad acting. They're like, okay, we'll do more bad acting.
SPEAKER_00We'll do the worst acting. Um, okay, so anyway, there has been a sweater, an Artie Cardi cardigan, an Artie Cardi and a pair of overalls that I've really wanted. One was on a 14-year-old character in the show, and I'm like, Can I wear these? I think so. Um, and so I found both of them. There's two websites that are here to help you find the things you want to wear. It is called worn on TV.net or shopiourtv.com. And both have proven successful. You can put in the show and the season, and then you can pick by character on what they're looking for, like what you want. And I have found it. Unfortunately, the sweater, both items are sold out everywhere. So then I, of course, hit up Poshmark to see if I can find them. I've not yet purchased either because I've not yet found them in my size. But I love them and I'm here to share the news with you. Can I talk about Jeopardy?
SPEAKER_01Sure. So we've talked about Jeopardy and the you know streaks and the hosting thing and all the things and all the stuff. Found an article from Cosmopolitan of all places. James Holeslauer called out a horrifying tweet and Jeopardy fans lost it. What? So uh Sotera, Zetera, I don't know how you say it, at Sotera underscore 99 on Twitter, made some Jeopardy champion Valentine's Championship.
SPEAKER_00Dude, these are amazing.
SPEAKER_01Uh one is Ken Jennings looking awkward, says, I feel uh Ken Action with you. That's awesome. One is um Brad uh Brad uh Rudder is his name. I've got it Brad for you. Um and then what James Holzhauer uh objected to, and this one's bad, it says, spending my Holsehours with you.
SPEAKER_00I mean, it's not as good as the other one.
SPEAKER_01And James said, This is genuinely horrifying in retweet, quoting it. And Ken Jennings, the king, responded, alarmingly, yours said, I thought yours said spreading and not spending at first glimpse, which I too, because the way this font is and the way it's like over the background, it really looks like it says, and you know, it's like if the all the letters are the same, you read, you know, I really thought it said spreading my holes hours with you. I'm like, are you inferring this guy is a sexually transmitted disease? Dude, these are hilarious. So this lady kept doing some other ones, including um uh Buzzy, what's Buzzy's last name? Uh anyway, he said it's him with his hand on the buzzer saying, You've seen what this hand can do on the buzzer.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god.
SPEAKER_01Um and then uh there's another one of Ken Jennings with uh hitting those daily doubles all night long. Uh and the D is uh kind of evocatively shaped. Oh my god. Uh there's Amy, um, let's see, Schneider, that you can call me Amy Time. Amy Time.
SPEAKER_00Um I like the mat about you too, the first one.
SPEAKER_01So there's there's a lot, there's a lot there, but I thought that was that was pretty funny. And shout out to this lady who seemed to enjoy her 10 seconds of internet fame.
SPEAKER_00She is, I mean, she um has a pinned tweet on Valentine's Day. Ken and James, I am honored, you know, sharing the retweets. She's only got 94 followers. Like she's I wonder if she's gonna blow up. Just curious. I would hope so. Anyway, good job, said Satara.
SPEAKER_01Can I keep talking about Jeopardy? I mean, sure. She had a hard time choosing. I I pulled a bridge. So weird. I have another one. I found this one. Um, they they are gonna release a Canadian version of Jeopardy. You know, they have like the uh thing of champions, they have the college Jeopardy, um, and a lot of the people that are contestants now are coming from Canada. So I said, why don't we just do a Canadian version? Okay. It's gonna be a little different because all the answers have to be in the form of an apology.
SPEAKER_00Oh sorry. Sorry. That'd be funny if they did.
SPEAKER_01That's a tattoo.
SPEAKER_00We'll be right back, guys. All right, we are back. We're back, we're back with some products we're loving. This is the ultimate mom product I'm sharing with you today. Yeah, I'm very interested in this. So it's ridiculous. Um, but it's called the belt buckle booster. And honestly, it looks like a square fun noodle. It's literally just like a piece of foam. But um, so the real dream is when your kids can buckle themselves into their car. You will get there one day, Nick. And when they so Elliot's just in a booster seat, so he just uses a regular seatbelt and he can do it, but like the seatbelt thing gets butt buried in the seat. Oh, yeah. So this thing is literally just like a piece of foam that you put around it so it doesn't fall down and it it comes up a little higher closer to the booster seat so kids can buckle themselves in. And I get frustrated every day. I'm like, Elliot, you don't need me to buckle you in, but like also I buckle your sister in, and so I'm trying to be fair, you know, whatever. So I know, I know equitable.
SPEAKER_01That's what justice is about. Be equitable. He doesn't need help.
SPEAKER_00It's a it's a fine line every day of like, I'm trying to teach you you could do it on your own. But also, yes, I did just help your sister. Um, this feels like a shark tank thing. I don't think it is, I have no idea. But it is $13 for two of them, which most people would say, no big deal. But me would say, just cut a fun noodle off and do it that way.
SPEAKER_01I kind of am with you. I saw a hilarious reel of Shark Tank, but in relationships. Oh, really? And this guy walks in and what do you call it? Like his whatever his pet name for his girlfriend, you're like, boo. I'm here to present to you an opportunity for me to go on a three-day trip with my bros to Vegas in exchange for you receiving an equity stake of three date nights to your favorite restaurant, complete with all you want, whatever, whatever. And um, and then he like goes in the Shark Tank pitch, like a Shark Tank voice, all that stuff of like, think about the benefits to you. I'm looking for a strategic partner that understands the benefit of you being invested with me being gone so you can have some alone time. That's awesome. It was very funny. And then it cuts her, she's like, you know, I just you don't have any proprietary information here. What's to stop me from taking this and doing this with my girlfriend? He's like, Oh, that skank ass. It was very funny. I should finance share it.
SPEAKER_00Well, you know, I I props to these people, and many people would just spend the $13 to buy the belt buckles, do it. But they're not crafty like you. I, as soon as fun noodles are out in the store, I might just try and use a fun noodle and see if it works, and I'll I will report back.
SPEAKER_01I am uh gonna do something a little nerdy. There's this uh gaming parody social media account called Viva La Dirt League, and they make digital shorts and uh stories and reels and videos and things like that, making fun of video game culture. Okay, they have like this series called Epic NPC Man, and it makes fun of every RPG game ever. NPC is non-player character, where you have to go and do a quest, you go up to some guys like, Hello, I'm Sam the Baker. I need you to go gather three eggs for me before you can proceed on your journey. Oh, yeah, Elliot loves this type of stuff. And so they make jokes about it. It's very funny. They have great production values. It's three dudes down in New Zealand that quit day jobs to do this. Um they've expanded, expanded, expanded, and they're doing a Kickstarter to do a huge expansion to buy their own studios, um, get like a steady space, uh, office space for their whole team. They're launching some new shows. They brought more people on board. They're launching one uh with two of their female cast members that is gonna be a parody of The Sims, which I can't wait for.
SPEAKER_00What? This is like a different language to me right now.
SPEAKER_01Anyway, if you're you know a little nerdy, they're doing the Kickstarter, they're doing um some really funny updates and stuff, so check them out. Viva La Dirt League. Um Viva La Dirt League. They've already smashed seven of their goals. Uh they're hoping for more, obviously, to keep doing more and more cool stuff. Highly recommend it.
SPEAKER_00I'm checking it out right now. Guys, we're back for a quick little Yeah, I found an article I should have shared because there's been articles. I was just saying, all this figure scating stuff going on is so sad right now.
SPEAKER_01I think it's ridiculous that the IOC is doing the like you know, everything is someone else's fault all the time, which it is a little bit because they're dependent on host committee and all that stuff, but also like you're making billions of dollars.
SPEAKER_00I do think this is Russia's fault.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so but like the ILC could have like just been like, hey, you're not competing.
SPEAKER_00Well, yeah, I mean, but they didn't know this was gonna happen. They did too. That she was gonna break down and not get a medal. Yeah, that one. That's what I mean, is sad. Oh, okay. Like, oh, not the doping stuff, yeah. I think it's hilarious. Okay, but this girl who's 15, and like we talked about all the Michaela Schiffin stuff as she's.
SPEAKER_01Kara Lapinski said I was 15 and dealt with it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, I know, and actually I was thinking about this when I was doing the dishes. I'm like, I gave like I gave a whole healthy amount of shit being like, hey, you you took this on, you're a professional athlete. But I've been trying to see the other side of things and like The Olympics is whatever. I I could I don't want to spend the whole episode doing this again. I just feel bad. They're like basically like this 15-year-old girl from Russia is breaking down in front of the whole world, and like her coaches are like, Yeah, you suck. Sorry, you shouldn't have done so bad. Like, oh, she's 15, you guys.
SPEAKER_01I couldn't, what were you doing when you were 15? You know, it gets back to we all know I hate Novak Djokovic, but you know, when we're talking about the Simone Biles stuff, about the Naomi Osaka stuff, these people that are like trying to be top-level athletes but also have mental health boundaries. And Novak said pressure is a privilege when you're at the top. Like if you're gonna be a top-level athlete, there is privilege. And I actually think Michaela Shriffin Schifrin kind of said something along that line too, of like, look, I know I'm gonna screw up, but when you're at my level, like this is the game.
SPEAKER_00You're gonna do it. Yeah, it's very it's just an yeah, I don't know. I don't know what's that.
SPEAKER_01What I feel bad for I think I feel bad that she's 15. That's kind of like where they compete, though. I feel bad that it sucks that that sport so they're starting to like say, maybe we shouldn't let 15-year-olds compete.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Maybe they should be legal adults.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she didn't really have a choice. Like let's correct. She was forced, you know, maybe she loves it, but Or she said she hates it, so did she?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So the the slate article that made us want to talk about this over the break, the it says the like tag, the byline, whatever. The beauty from some Olympic skaters was not worth seeing a child emotionally broken on live television. Because she did. She just like lost her shit after she didn't. She plays fourth and she's a great skater, and you know, um, and but like you're fourth in the world. Fourth in the world. But that wasn't good enough, you know. I I think part of it is marred in my head by the fact that she's from Russia, and I feel like they just like beat their athletes. Yeah, they do, you know. So I'm and I I am basing that on nothing. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01I just feel like I mean, I think we'd feel differently about it if it was an American athlete where like there was some hopefully checks and balances, although we still don't know what with Jamaican.
SPEAKER_00But also, yeah, like, and also the doping scandal, like this is not this girl's fault. They made it as I mean, sh, whatever. Anyway, all of it. Unfair. Okay, that was off the cuff. Sorry. I was just feeling sad over the break, but we're back to make things lighter with Nick's.
SPEAKER_01The most incredible thing that we all know Bridget has a hard time making choices. We know she loves Milwaukee, we know she loves Wisconsin, we know she loves food. Temper Neo! So we have from the Milwaukee record a Wisconsin snack bracket. Whoa, whoa, okay, okay. All right, so we all love brackets for when it's March. We're a little before March when we're gonna be able to do that. We don't all love brackets because March. Because, because, because, because of the wonderful wizard he does. Uh anyway, we are going to we're gonna go through this 64, no, 32 team bracket of Wisconsin snacks. There is a sweet region, a sauce and dip region, a sausage and cheese region, and a salty region. That's amazing. I thought about changing some of these things to uh be not, you know, Johnsonville summer sauce to be my much better summer sauces, but we're gonna keep this intact. So um, I originally found this from A.J. Dillon, the Green Bay Packers running back that has embraced Wisconsin like no other. He spilled out a tweet, uh completed bracket and tweeted it out. Uh there is ongoing voting on Milwaukee Record round by round, which is so funny. So we're gonna do this region by region and make you choose, Bridget. You said you didn't want a heads up. I said it's gonna be tough. You're gonna have to do this. Okay. So, number one round, the number one seed. What? Cream puffs from State Fair versus East Side Oven's cookies.
SPEAKER_00Ooh, tough call, but these are cream puffs. This is a once-a-year thing, even though you can get them more than once a year, but cream puffs for sure.
SPEAKER_01Next up, Greeby's donuts, delicious fried donuts versus baraboo candy cow pies.
SPEAKER_00Uh, donuts, duh.
SPEAKER_01I mean, I knew that one was.
SPEAKER_00I know, but I did debate it because a cow pie is like a nice little snack.
SPEAKER_01Further on into the bracket, the number two seed in the sweet region. We have Quick Trip Glazers versus Goody's Gourmet's caramel corn.
SPEAKER_00No question, glazers. I make my own caramel corn that's way better.
SPEAKER_01Now, this one I think is a hard matchup. We have two similar styles against each other, but a little bit, slight variations of how they do it. We have OH Bakery Kringle versus Racine Bakery Kringle.
SPEAKER_00I'm an OH Bakery. What are you?
SPEAKER_01I also am an OH Kringle.
SPEAKER_00Okay, just curious.
SPEAKER_01All right, so in the round two matchups in the sweet regional, we have cream puffs versus greeby donuts. I know Bridget loves donuts, but cream puffs. Cream puffs win here. I love cream puffs. Next, we have Quick Trip Glazers, the two seed versus OH Bakery Kringle. I know, again, you love donuts, but I think quick trip glazers aren't quite your favorite. And I know you like a Kringle.
SPEAKER_00This is a tough one, everybody. But because I don't like all fillings in Kringles, I'm going with Glazers because Glazers are safe every day. But I don't want a cherry Kringle. Get that out of my face.
SPEAKER_01All right, in the sweet finale, we have Cream Puffs versus Quick Trip Glazers. This might surprise you, but I'm going with cream puffs. Oh, wow. All shock all the way here. Number one seed, cream puffs, advances to the finals. Who will they play? That is to determine as we go to the sauce and dip. I'm nervous about this. First, we have Merck's cheese spread, or as some people know it, Boatchies versus bat sauce.
SPEAKER_00I don't even know what's bat sauce. I had to look this up.
SPEAKER_01It is a horseradish sauce that evidently it's a creamy horseradish-y sauce that is uh infiltrating butcher shops all over the world. Recently was at Hanes Meats uh Good Friends up in Cocana. Oh, I think that's where Hanes are. So I'm gonna look into that, but it's obviously mercs. Mercs. Mercs. Next, we have Cacana Spread versus Secret Stadium Sauce. 3-6 matchup. Where are you going? Uh I mean We all know they're just going to get obliterated by Mercury.
SPEAKER_00They're gonna get, yeah, let's go with stadium sauce, actually. Uh, because I don't care about Cacana Spread. I don't really care about either of those.
SPEAKER_01Next, we have Coops, mustard versus Renard's bacon ketchup.
SPEAKER_00Ketchup. I hate mustard, everybody. I don't know if I'd like bacon ketchup. Have you ever had it?
SPEAKER_01No, I'm sure it's gross though. I know I am too, but I really hate mustard dip. Most bacon flavored things are gross. Really hate mustard. And finally, our four or five matchup in sauce versus dips or sauce and dips is beer cheese dip. Pick your favorite versus Bucky Badger French onion dip.
SPEAKER_00Well, because I'm not familiar with Bucky Badger French onion dip, I don't know if there are actual onions in it. Is there? Oh, I've never had this French onion dip.
SPEAKER_01I was gonna make this one um French, not French's. What's the uh Kemps, Kemps that you get in the case? Oh, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00I like that. Ooh, that would make it way harder, but I'm going with beer cheese dip because I'm unfamiliar with the French onion.
SPEAKER_01And it goes great with what we're gonna find in the salty. Ooh, this is tough. Salty one's gonna be very tough for you. I'm just gonna give you a all right. We need to finish out the sauce dip regional. So we have number one seed mercs versus secret stadium sauce.
SPEAKER_00Mercs. Mercs. You guys can laugh at my what's here. Because let me just spoiler alert here. Ketchup versus beer cheese.
SPEAKER_01Beer cheese.
SPEAKER_00Beer cheese. Because bacon ketchup, who knows?
SPEAKER_01Now mercs versus beer cheese. This one, I mean, I think this could have this could have some, you know, one's a warm thing to dip in, one's a cold, one's a spreadable, one's a dumpable. It's mercs.
SPEAKER_00It's mercs. Because I don't know if beer cheese is hot or cold. And mercs I've been putting on my burger buns, and it's so good.
SPEAKER_01So good.
SPEAKER_00So versatile.
SPEAKER_01All right, so so far, let's recap in the sweet regional number one seed cream puffs have advanced to base off against the number one seed in sauce dip, Merck's cheese spread. Or as we know in Bridget's world, boat cheese. We now advance to sausage slash cheese, and this is the one I wanted to modify a little bit. But uh, some of these things I think we're gonna hear some puking noises from Bridget. First, we have number one Wisconsin Cheese Company curds versus Sargento Cheese Sticks. Should have been Hill Valley Dairy curds, guys. Curds. Curds. Yeah, this one's not gonna be my.
SPEAKER_00Curds the words.
SPEAKER_01Now we have the number three versus number six. We have venison hot sticks versus Sass's mozzarella sticks.
SPEAKER_00I don't want either of these. Uh uh. Mozzarella sticks. I don't like hot malty cheese in a fried ball tube. Tube, a hot tube. I don't like mozzarella sticks.
SPEAKER_01See, it seems like exactly the type of thing you want. I know it's very hot, very crispy. It's piping hot, it burns your mouth a little bit while you have it, just like your coffee.
SPEAKER_00But it's too, it's it's hard to explain. It's too much cheese to crunch ratio. It's cheese curds when they're fried, like Culver's cheese curds, they're small enough that it's a great cheese to crunch ratio. Naturalistics? No.
SPEAKER_01All right. Now we know.
SPEAKER_00But sazes are delicious.
SPEAKER_01The bottom half of this bracket, we have number two cannibal sandwich. What the hell is that? You know what a cannibal sandwich is? I don't think so. It's ground round raw mixed with onions and eggs. Kind of like a steak tartare, but instead of chopped steak, it's ground round. Raw? Raw. Every Christmas, do you know what Sean Payne comes in and says? I need and we say, Sean, we don't sell cannibal sandwiches. Because you will die. It is our policy as a butcher shop that if you eat raw or undercooked meat, you're gonna die. Doesn't matter. Well, you guys are clean. Doesn't yes, we are. It doesn't matter. You will die.
SPEAKER_00Oh, you guys, I'm googling. Oh, I'm googling ahead of time. Okay, sorry. Well, um, I'm just gonna just the other option was uh Clement Smokies. I'm obviously choosing that. Yep. Although none of these are things I want to eat.
SPEAKER_01Gotta be honest. And now the one I really wanted to change to make it better. Johnsonville summer sausage, they do some things okay. I would say they don't do anything great. They do some things okay. Their summer sausage is garbage. Garbage. This should have been Usinger's. And then it's Usinger's Braunschwager, which is a very good one, but I would have done Clement's Braunschwager, Johnsonville Bratz, and uh uh Usinger's summer sausage. That's how I would have done this in terms of respective strengths.
SPEAKER_00Listen, Braunschwager looks like a log of bologna. So I'm going with Johnsonville summer sausage. You know, what is Braunschwager?
SPEAKER_01It's liver sausage. Remember, you tried some. One of the great accomplishments of my life was to get Bridget to not only try liver sausage, but do it on camera.
SPEAKER_00But do it, watch it, watch how it was made while I was maybe a bit hungover and try not to throw up in the back of the house. I forgot about that.
SPEAKER_01All right, so we now have number one seed cheese curds versus Saz's mozzarella sticks.
SPEAKER_00Oh boy, this I'm looking ahead, and this is gonna be hard.
unknownDamn.
SPEAKER_00Oh, sorry. I'm sorry. I was I was googling. Um, curds, curds. I wasn't paying attention.
SPEAKER_01Number the bottom half of this Clement Smokies versus Johnsonville summer sausage.
SPEAKER_00Smokies like the little hot dogs? Yeah, and like your body keys. Because I can, you know, feed those to my children.
SPEAKER_01And to finish off, the summer sausage slice cheese one curds versus smokies. Curds.
SPEAKER_00You guys.
SPEAKER_01All one seeds. All one seeds.
SPEAKER_00Are they all one seeds? All one seeds. Oh wow, look at me. No spoilers, scary's here. Salty, salty, salty, Bridget's favorite thing. Okay, well, I'll tell you right now the number one seed's not gonna be the final one, I don't think.
SPEAKER_01L Ray chips versus lush popcorn. I don't know what lush popcorn is.
SPEAKER_00There were other popcorns I would have picked. Yeah, same. I mean, I'm a popcorn person, but I don't Lush popcorn. What is it? Oh, I don't know, lush. I gotta go with L Ray chips. L Ray chips are great. Yeah, I know those are good.
SPEAKER_01What the f- What are all the delicious popcorn? I'm making this popcorn, not the chip.
SPEAKER_00Nope, doesn't matter what you say. Funky fresh spring rolls are winning.
unknownFunky fresh.
SPEAKER_00So good. Have you ever had them? Yes, I have.
SPEAKER_01So good! But delicious popcorn is so good. I mean This is the one. This right here. This is the Battle of Bridget's soul. Number two seed, Pretzilla Bites, which would be great with some beer cheese that didn't win. Versus number seven, Milwaukee Pretzel Company. Bavarian Beast.
SPEAKER_00Listen, why is Milwaukee Pretzel Company a seven seed? I I agree, but you know, this is Milwaukee record. Listen, Bavarian Beast is winning because um pretzilla's good, but Milwaukee Pretzel Company has the crunchy like exterior and soft inside nailed, and that's the best part.
SPEAKER_01Now, in more puking news. Yeah, this is gross. Number four, Ma Bench marinated herring versus number five, pickled eggs. Uh pickled eggs, bro.
SPEAKER_00Marinated herring.
SPEAKER_01Although I know Ma Bench, great, but number one, El Ray, chips versus funky fresh spring rolls. Spring rolls, bro. This is a tough one. NPC Bavarian Beast versus pickled eggs. Bavarian Beast! Oh shoot, I don't know what to pick now. Oh, come on. Funky fresh spring rolls versus MPC Bavarian Beast. Yeah, that's a toughie, but based on everything else I chose Bavarian Beast. I mean, obviously. But those spring rolls are so good. Alright, so we have a matchup in the final, in the semifinals of number one in the sweet, cream pups versus number one in the sauce dip, Mercs.
SPEAKER_00Oh shit. I have to pick one of those? Yeah. Listen, sweets and sauce dips are two very different things. Why can't I have both?
unknownI want both.
SPEAKER_00I want Mercs. I grew up on it, you guys. It has it holds fond memories.
SPEAKER_01And then sausage cheese versus salty, curds versus MPC Bavarian beast. No question. Bavarian beast! Because look, I can enjoy these together. And our final is Mercs versus MPC Bavarian Beast. Oh no!
SPEAKER_00I need to make it MPC because Bavarian Beast could be like a meal. I knew it. Oh I knew it. Hey, at least the final winner is not my one seed. I know. That's that's good. That's good. This is hilarious. What was your winner? Did you do it too? I'm doing it right now. Oh, okay. I mean, I believe I'm allowed a sweet as well. And I thought their cream puff would have be would have been surprising to you.
SPEAKER_01So I have Saz's in the sausage cheese one because I love their mozzarella sticks. Oh, do you? I have the Bavarian Beast as well. Although it was a tough one between that and the delicious popcorn.
SPEAKER_00Wait, you did delicious. What is your um salty?
SPEAKER_01So I have El Ray, I have Delicious, I have Delicious. Oh, delicious beaded Bavarian beast. I have, I mean, the marinade herring and picklebags are the worst thing in the world. But I'm gonna go with the herring because I can just take a small little bite of it, I think. Um that gets obliterated by the bavarian beast. The bavarian beast obliterates the delicious popcorn because ultimately, like, it does get the kernel stuck in your teeth. So I have uh MPC versus sad Saz's MPC wins that one. Yay! Um, I actually have East Side Oven cookies. I'm not a big cream puff person. Uh you know, much as you described, you don't like the cheese coming out of the crispy and the cream puff. I don't like you bite it and just like all over your face. And I have a beard, and as Tyler can attest, food like that is incredibly difficult to eat with a beard. It just gets stuck on everything.
SPEAKER_00It is messy.
SPEAKER_01Uh love cow pies, but greebies wins. Yeah. Uh Eastside ovens, cookies versus greebies, greebies wins, quick trip glazers versus goodie gourmet, caramel corn, uh, glazers. Great OH. OH beats Glazers, Greebies beats uh OH. So I have Greebies in that final, Mercs wins. Wait, Greebies donuts is your final? Yep. Oh wow. Merck's cheese beats spat sauce, cocana spread beats secret stadium sauce. Merx is infinitely better than Cacana, so that wins. How much better? Coops wins, uh Beer Cheese Dip wins, uh Mercs wins. So we have Mercs versus Greebies. Uh Mercs wins. So I have the same final as the Mercs and MPC, but uh Mercs wins for me.
SPEAKER_00What?
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_00Why? Because it's versatile? Yeah, and like I'm friends with the Mercs. And you know, they're nice people. This is so funny. I want to make my own and put a couple like put Hill Valley on here and put us on here. This is great. Can we post this so our people can do it?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we're gonna post this. We're gonna um post our thing. You people, people do it.
SPEAKER_00Beth, I'm talking to you. Shannon, Brittany, I'm talking to you. I want to know your snack bracket, particularly you, Brittany, who no longer lives in Wisconsin. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Do it. You know, maybe we should do a Wisconsin cheese bracket. Uh everybody does brackets in March. Let's do them in February.
SPEAKER_00Listen, I hate brackets, so Nick was like, hey, should we do this? I'm like, yeah, I can tell all the people how much I hate March Madness, but I'll do a snack bracket anytime.
SPEAKER_01Speaking of snacks, let's talk about some food. Did you, was your best food of the week a snack like it usually is, or was it something legit?
SPEAKER_00It was a real meal, but not when I cooked, duh. I tried really hard to be like, this needs to be a real meal. Um, but instead of me cooking, because I don't like to do that as much as I should, um, I am shouting out our our BFFs at Tacaria El Gallo de Oro, um, which is the delicious Mexican restaurant across from Pizza Hut down in Lake Geneva. I introduced some people to it this year.
SPEAKER_01They've never heard of it. Excellent lingua tacos.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I've heard that. Um, everything I've had there is excellent, but they did a great job pivoting, getting ready for a holiday that might not normally be theirs and Valentine's Day. So they um so they uh did heart-shaped taco platters. So I got my order to go. So they just took like one of those um to go like uh metal, whatever, aluminum pans and got them heart-shaped. And so you could buy a heart-shaped taco platter, and so we got two of those for the family. Um, we got to support the the um wonderful people that own that restaurant. Um, their daughter is in my son's kindergarten class. So actually, I'm gonna talk about her in Kid Corner. Uh so it was really nice to be able to support them. It was really lovely to not have to cook, and we got to get a romantic Valentine's taco platter when normally we are heart-shaped pizza people. Like normally we make our own heart-shaped. Yeah, that surprised me. Yeah, I know. We went off the cuff this year. Our kids eat tacos better than they eat pizza. So that's weird. I know, isn't that weird? But very weird. So anyway, we got heart-shaped taco platter platters from a local Lake Geneva taco place.
SPEAKER_01I'm getting orders for people screwing up ribs. I'll tell you. I'll tell you. Uh, I am really all in on fried food right now. Like, I just have a hankering for fried food. Like, maybe that's why Saz's mozzarella sticks fit so well. I don't know what it is, but like we're uh we're looking at some possible new flavors for uh marinated chicken in the store. And one that I think we're gonna do is a Nashville hot chicken.
SPEAKER_02What?
SPEAKER_01So I think we're gonna get rid of the Buffalo chicken and do Nashville hot instead.
SPEAKER_00Oh, this is mind-blowing. I didn't know about this ahead of time.
SPEAKER_01Bridget, Bridget's gendel. We're looking at this stuff, and it's like, you know, the beautiful picture of a Nashville hot chicken sandwich, which is maybe the best food in the world. So good. It's not, but it's in the top ten. Oh, so good. I so I'm like, oh man, that looks so good. You got the chicken, you got the mayo, you got the pickles, you got a little bit of crunchy lettuce.
SPEAKER_00Yama.
SPEAKER_01Drink it with an ice cold lager. I'm like, oh, this looks so good. Sounds delicious. So I've had this hankering for fried food. And last night I picked up Simona from school, um, which is, you know, this isn't Kid Corn yet, but my daddy, pick me up. Uh also she says, pick-a-me up all the time. Pick a me up. My daddy, pick me up. Oh.
SPEAKER_00Um so exciting when the men get to pick their kids up.
SPEAKER_01Uh, Ron, friend of show Ron, good cheesemaker, Ron. Uh, he he once told me, He's like, you know, there's things your kids say that are wrong, and you just can't break it. You just can't correct them because it's so funny and so endearing when they say it. Yeah. Pick-a-me up. Pick a me up the best thing she says. Anyway, so we um went to uh we we went and did some errands afterwards. We had to go to the library, we had to go to Best Buy to get some stuff, and Sarah texts me and she's like, Oh, have you thought about dinner? I'm like, No, I was kind of share what you want. She's like, Can we get some fried chicken tenders? I'm like, Well, we don't have any chicken tenders fresh right now, but what we do have are pork chops. So I fried up some pork chops, we had some pierogi, some applesauce. Oh, yum! It was so good. I love pierogi. So, like, I got my fried food fix without having to go through you know, McDonald's and get the you know, fried chicken, which their fried chicken sandwiches are quite good.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god, this is the second time. Was it that? Someone was just telling me about some chicken. Oh no, KFC. Someone was telling me about. Well sorry, everybody. We just got really excited about fried chicken sandwiches. So, anyway, I should make some fried chicken.
SPEAKER_01I will make fried chicken. My fried pork chops are excellent.
SPEAKER_00Okay, great job, man. Fried food, I'm here for that. You ready, Nick? One second, I gotta write a note for you. Um I have a um fun evening tonight with some ladies. Shout out, Beth.
SPEAKER_01And I'm looking at the menu for where we're eating because I their flatbreads are very good and their chicken parm is very good. Not a chicken parm fan.
SPEAKER_00Their flatbreads are very good. I want gnocchi. Why is there no gnocchi? They have gnocchi. Uh okay, everybody. All right, are you ready for Kid Corner? Is it weird if I talk about another kid in Kid Corner that's not my children? Is that odd? No, I don't think so. No, I don't think so. Okay, I'm gonna start then. Um, I've had the awesome opportunity to be able to go into Elliot's school and help out with some gym classes. Uh, because of Cove Cove, I haven't gotten to go in and like be, you know, classroom mom or whatever that is. Uh, but the gym teacher needed some help because she's doing really fun Olympics uh things for the kids. So today's the last day that I'm going in, but on Tuesday, I was like, oh, I've really made it. I was there and one of the lovely ladies, lovely ladies, the one of the girls in class came up to me right at the end of class and said, Elliot's mom. And she gave me two bracelets. Oh. And I was like, oh, Ariana, thank you. I said, Is this um for Elliot? And she said, This one's for you. And then she gave me another one and said, This one's for Elliot. Now I'm wondering if I'm hitting territory that I need to start worrying about girls.
SPEAKER_01I think girls need to worry about Elliot, not the other way around.
SPEAKER_00I just am like seeing my future where I'm like, oh crap. Girls are gonna start having crushes on kids, and my kids gonna be like, What? You know, like that's how boys are, right? And I I was a girl, so I'm learning all these new things. So it was this adorable thing. I wrote her mom a note right away and said, Hey, just like want to let you know you have the sweetest daughter. She did this lovely thing. And I wish other parents did that. Because like if someone said that to me, I once a teacher said that to me about Elliot, and I was like, I'm still talking about it. It was a year ago. I know, but it's, you know, parenting's hard. It is hard. And people like, it's easy to think you suck at it. So uh Ariana's mom, I won't say her name for I don't know, protection privacy reasons. Uh, your daughter is such a sweetheart.
SPEAKER_01So I got to take Simona to gymnastics this weekend. How was that? It was so much fun. So this is a uh, you know, small child gymnastics class, and we uh started by you get there, and Simone did a great job. She knew exactly where to go, opened the doors herself, knew the deal with take off the shoes, take off her coat. Where I'm like, oh, I don't even have to like, you got this covered, girl. This is great. So Sarah gave me the briefing, so I kind of knew what to expect a little bit. Also didn't. Uh we got there. They start with some like little warm-up activities. They do like march around, and Simone's like not having this. Like, she's just like, no, I'm good. I'm not gonna warm up. I'm gonna stand here.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna pull a muscle.
SPEAKER_01And then we do some stretches, and she does the stretches. And you know, as a parent, you're supposed to do it with him. I'm like, ugh. And like it was it was like nine kids at this one, so it was like too big, you know, but they had a thing. So like there was enough space. I'm like, I'm sorry, I'm six foot one, and like my leg is in your space, but like I'm trying to get her to do the stretch. I'm sorry. Um, so it was really cool, and then we got to do all the obstacle course stuff, and she did so good, she was very patient, she was a good listener, she did her front flips. She's not very good at her wall climbs, she didn't understand the like walk up the wall thing. I'm like, I hate wall climbing. But uh, we did some good jumping, we did some good swinging. It was the fastest 40 minutes of my life. It was only supposed to be 30 minutes, and other parents are like, Oh wow, this took so long. This is I was like, No, this is great. And also, I discovered in my parenting style, a lot of the parents, because you got to help your kid through the obstacle course, you know, like because there's only one coach in there, they're like, Come on, do this. I'm like, all right, let's go, Simona, come on, you can do it, let's go, baby girl. Come on, you can do it, let's go, let's go. Like, I was very like into it, like a cheerleader, and uh lots of high-fiving, lots of hugs. I was like bringing the energy, bringing the noise. I was I loved it. It was super special. Uh, then her older cousin, uh, Emma's, I think like seven, seven, eight, something like that, uh, is in the big kin gym. You saw that on their website, and doing like, she's like seven, and she's doing like on a balance beam doing cartwheel stuff. And Simona goes and like there's a window where you can watch it all. So we're there watching it, and she's like, I'll be like Emma. I'm like, no, you're not. We're done at that point. Oh, come on. She's gonna hurt herself. Well, if you want her to become an Olympian, Nick I want her to play tennis.
SPEAKER_00Of course you do.
SPEAKER_01It's a lifelong gym. Singular sports, no teams. So is gymnastics. Oh, you're right, you're right. Uh so we're gonna, we're gonna do, you know, we're gonna, but uh also there's like all you could like do a private party there. I am. That's where Elliot's birthday party is. Is it?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's what I was just looking at.
SPEAKER_01Because I was thinking, it's like, man, Simone and Lucy in this like room of toys together.
SPEAKER_00I know. We can break something. We can sign Lucy up for it, but Saturday morning stuff is actually really we found really annoying. Because Elliot was signed up for basketball on Saturday morning. We're like, oh, we don't like it.
SPEAKER_01So anyway, I had so much fun with gymnastics. Oh, good. And we went and we did some shopping, wore out, had some lunch. We made a craft for mommy for Valentine's Day because daddies can be crafty too. Uh, it was pretty janky, it did not go the way I thought it was gonna go. That was thoughtful. Uh, I thought we could get her hands printed out like a heart, and then we were gonna do um Oh no. Because her and her mom like to do this uh they sing You Are My Sunshine Together, it's very cute how they sing back and forth, and then we're gonna have like a sun made from her fingers and stuff, and uh it didn't quite work out right. It's a lot of handprint pressure. Um she was hungry, she was tired, mom was coming back. Put your handprint on! But we got it, we got it done. It was a little janky, but thought that counts. We did some glittering, we didn't get the glitter all over. So that was wow, that's impressive. We we were strategic. We we did it like we do cooking. She's a good, you know, sprinkler with the cooking. Yeah. So we uh I you know applied the glue and then um she got to sprinkle like she was salty to dish.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's fair.
SPEAKER_01And she did a good job, kept it very much where she got. So I love crafting. Uh that was that was I cried a lot.
SPEAKER_00Well, everybody, Nick cried in breaking news on Dinner Plus Drinks. Breaking news. We uh hope you send us a note and particularly send us a copy of your Wisconsin snack packet. We want to know. At hello at dinnerplusdrinks.com. Uh Nick will put it in the show notes, maybe.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we'll have it on the show notes. We'll have it on the um the socials.
SPEAKER_00The socials. So you can find us at Dinner Plus Drinks Podcast on Facebook and Instagram.
SPEAKER_01Uh we'll post ours so you can mock our choices or say, you know, how stupid we are. No, you cannot do that, but thanks for your feedback. Some might just have pukey faces. Who'll like the uh Ma bench herring versus No the cannibal sandwich. I like pickled eggs. Uh hope you didn't mind my pontificating about what my competitive uh meat people do better and worse. But we appreciate you listening, guys. Next week will be a fun episode. I'm sure we'll come up with something Washington, D.C. themed. Yeah. We haven't figured it out yet. So stay tuned. Stay tuned. Bye.
