Alright, guys, so if you're a longtime listener, you stuck with us through all the coronavirus crap, we figured you probably deserve something a little special. If you remember back in February last year, we had the search for mint Kit Kats. Well, I have some here. I bought them in bulk in the little Geo ones. And as part of learning about Kit Kats, what did we learn, Bridget? We learned that there are like 5,000 Kit Kat flavors that we never knew of. Because they're all in Japan.

And they're all in Japan. I'm looking at an outline from February 23rd, and we had discovered the birthday cake flavor at that point.

And um, there's there's so many. And because Google and Facebook listens to every damn word we say, no matter what they say, we were targeted. I was getting super targeted, like super targeted by this company called Boxu, which provides well, their tagline is Discover Japan through snacks. Dude, they have good snacks. So they have a Japanese Kit Kat mixed experience box. Is it called mixed experience? I don't know what's called. It's called a Japanese Kit Kat Variety Pack. So let's unbox this and let's see what this looks like.

They have this uh special shipping thing that you can pay a dollar for that gives you like inch by inch updates. I like it. Uh comes from Baksu KK Quantum Amiwa 2-1-10 Nankokita ATC Building ITM Osaka, Japan. Well, I'm trying to do the YouTuber thing and do the unboxing experience. It's a brown box. I don't know. I'm trying to add some content here. You open it up, and it's in here. Ooh, that's a beautiful thing. And it's got all this stuff in Japanese. At least I assume it's Japanese. Uh, and it says, have a break, have a Kit Kat. It's the only thing in English. Also, I got some delicious uh Japanese beer nuts because I figured we want something a little spicy to go I forgot about those.

Yeah, I'm giving this one a big thumbs down. This literally tastes like nothing. Nothing. Like, because it doesn't have the sweetness of the milk chocolate, but it doesn't have the bitterness of like a real dark chocolate chocolate. It tastes like nothing.

It just tastes like white chocolate to me.

Rum raisin, yep. Okay. This is a Tokyo exclusive. So this is a white chocolate one. Oh, not what I expected at all. Somehow it smells not like rum or it does not smell like rum, nor does it smell like raisins, which those are pretty easy flavors to get, I think. Oh but it is more flavorful than the others. Yeah, it's not the disgusting white chocolate flavor. I feel like it has Oh, it has very rummy raisin flavor.

The first bites, because I'm sure it's close to my nose, is floral. But then I could see the Yeah, it does it. I mean it tastes like sake, but I'm gonna have to compare it to these other sake ones to like I don't know all the different kind like flavors of sake well enough to know what yogurt and yuzu and Japan sake the differences are.

I thought I thought we were gonna do all of the fun, crazy flavors. I thought this was gonna be all the fun, crazy ones. These are crazy for sure. Fun, not so much. My god. I actually really liked the cranberry dark chocolate almond one. Yeah, I liked that one. Actually, it might be towards the top of my list. I mean, collectively, I like your list, but I like the cranberry dark chocolate because I it's not clongly sweet. Strawberry cheesecake was super good, but it was sweet. Mint Kit Kat. I've never actually seen one or had one before.

All right, we're gonna go over the power rankings. Number one, Mount Fuji strawberry cheesecake. It was the best of the fake flavors, like got the cheesecake plus the strawberry right, pretty playable on the thing. I like it. Two, Yuzu straw sake. Yeah. Really aggressive on the orange flavor, very good. Then just the plain strawberry, which was good. Is that this one? Uh yeah, so then the OG Kit Kat.

This is where things start taking a turn for the worse.

A bean paste and buckwheat and all that stuff. That was just texturally weird, flavorly terrible. Tasted like that. And hojitsha, which was I don't know, whichever last one.
