Inauguration Celebration 2021 | Dinner Plus Drinks #56

Happy Inauguration Week everybody!

We want to promote a celebration of America and all of the wonderful traditions that bring us together, so on this week's episode, we put an Inauguration theme to the podcast. Join us as we share funny stories from past Inauguration, talk favorite fictional heads of state (thanks social followers for the input), talk about Presidential meals, and play a Presidential themed game of Interesting Questions with Bridget & Nick!

Here are links to what we talked about on this week's episode:

  1. We opened a bottle of Black Stallion Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley (super delicious) to enjoy. It was one of the wine's served at President Trump's Inauguration!
  2. Bridget shared this article from the Architect of the Capitol about the teamwork required to make a Presidential Inauguration happen.
  3. Nick loved this list from the History Channel about 10 Unexpected Moments in Inauguration History.
  4. Bridget suggests getting yourself a Madam Vice President Sweatshirt like this one.
  5. Nick can imagine nothing more patriotic than these Andy Roddick America Tennis Shoes.
  6. This week's LGCM Meal Plan has a listing of a few different Inaugural meals - check it out and maybe try one for yourself!

Thanks for listening - we really hope you enjoyed our little detour into the Presidential Inauguration. We had fun doing the research for this episode, and we hoped you enjoyed all the tidbits. We'd love to hear if you have any of your own Presidential "would you rathers" - feel free to send them our way and we'll do our best to answer them!

If you can please subscribe, rate us, review us, and share with your friends, we'd really appreciate it. Remember, you can follow us and get in touch with us through the following channels:

Enjoy the Inauguration and all the festivities that go along with a new President. No matter what side of the aisle you're on, it's a great excuse to celebrate America. We'll talk to you again next Sunday!
